Turn right on Route 680 north for 5.5 miles. Follow the "yellow apples." From the Peaks of Otter and Blue Ridge Parkway, take Route 43 south for 3.5 miles, turn right on Route 682 for 3 miles, turn right on Route 680 for 1 mile. Follow the "yellow apples."  Open: 8 am to 5 pm; daily, August through October.  A drive to our farm is spectacular anytime but especially in the fall when the leaves start turning. You can taste our apples, peaches, nectarines, cider, and other home grown and homemade products. Roadside stand open year round, 5 miles west of Bedford on Route 460. 15' high Johnny Appleseed statue. Restrooms. Picnic pavilion. Tour buses welcome anytime - appointments preferred. Call for antique tractor pull held the third weekend in September, and special educational tours and school field trip information. On-farm winery featuring "Fruit of the Farm" wines is open daily April- December and January, February and March by appointment. On-farm vacation house rental available year round.
    Over 170 different varieties of apples including Red and Golden Delicious, Johnny Grimes, Jonathan, Johnny Dels, Grimes Golden, McIntosh Granny Smith, Rome, Black Twig, Arkansas Black, Stayman, Winesap, Gala, plus many more antique apples. Homemade cider, apple butter, syrup, apple hot sauces, jellies and jams, and other farm fresh products such as molasses, honey, pumpkins, hot peppers and other produce.
